Hello. I just wanted to leave a quick note to apologize for not posting. I have been having some computer issues, but aside from that I have been crazy busy. And the big reason is that my depression has taken a firm hold and frankly it is all I can do to keep myself functioning. I have been spending every ounce of energy just trying to hold myself together for my family and frankly that hasn't been going very smoothly. So I am sorry to leave you all in the lurch, but now is a rough time and I hope you understand.
Thanks.

Hope you are feeling better very soon!
I hope you can feel better knowing that you're not the only crazy mom out there--I'm in the club, too. Depression is a very serious illness, so take care of yourself.
Love and miss your blog, but absolutely understand that right now you need to focus on your health. I hope that you are feeling better very soon, be gentle and kind with yourself.
hello ... i'm a twitter follower but my tweets are protected so you won't see it, even if i mention you. regarding what to do with your daughter who only eats pasta and white rice? i'd suggest stop serving pasta and rice! =) seriously, how old is she? if she's not old enough to make her own pasta and rice, you should be able to get her to eat something else. blended vegetable soups? yeasted bread with carrots/other veggies baked in?
is she old enough to help - even just a little - in the kitchen? if so, you could make big production of letting her pick out recipe, helping you, and hopefully eating it. let her get a little hungry. and have something else ready. even if it's just mashed potatoes (with gravy!? maybe get her used to sauces with that?) or maybe veggie dogs/pigs in blanket? fruit? something fun. and maybe something that keeps well so when she refuses, you can say "well if you're not hungry now, we'll put it here (low shelf in 'fridge) and you can get it later? (if she's old enough)
good luck!!!
As it turns out I just came across your blog. I would like to suggest that you go to www.drnedley.com and contact Dr. Neil Nedley, MD regarding your depression. You do not have to live with depression. As a medical professional I have known of Dr. Nedley for many years. He is highly educated in reversing depression and is the author of the well known books “Proof Positive” and “Depression – The Way Out.” He has a wonderful depression recovery program that I suggest you look into. Again you do not have to live with depression.
I pray you will follow my suggestion.
May God bless you.
A friend who loves Jesus.

Hello CVM,
I hope all is better with you these days.
I recently found your blog and was hoping I could ask you some questions related to being a Vegan Mom.
I could not find a way to contact you so I thought a post here might be the best way.
I'd love to hear from you but if not thanks for the great ideas!
Sincerely,
Adam
